RE:RE:What’s happening here?!This is an open forum with unlimited space for posts. Someone posting doesn't take anything away from you or your posts. I appreciate all styles of making money, day, swing or long. I also appreciate hearing others thoughts and strategies. Thats what the forum is for. You have an ignore feature to block the clutter from those you don't want to hear from. Stop whining and post something you believe to be useful. Simple as that.

This board has changed ..it is no longer a place where people can go and exchange news and have discussions about ACB and what is new with the company .. whats is going on with the various subsidiaries etc, etc,.
It has become inundated by swing traders and a place for day traders and people who are more concerned about hour by hour share price!
IT has actually become an unhealthy place for the investor in this stock ..where the conversation is centered around daily and hourly stock price cycles ..day trading , and people trying to convince others that selling shares and waiting for a downturn is a smart thing to do .. and then people wonder why there are such daily fluctuations .. Don’t get me wrong, it’s OK to take profits but you could end up chasing, that’s the risk. Does this strategy make you more money? No
The fact of the matter is, on average, swing trading does not make you more money just as statistics have proven that day traders do not make more money ..
It has become difficult to read all the trash talking going on and the name calling ..and all for what?
Ego? Popularity contests ? The ability to say to strangers you will never really know or ever see .. I told you so?
Or is it to be able to lie to someone and tell them how much money you made and how smart you are?!
Like the guy who went to the casino and won! ..never hear about the losers .. so why are the casinos making so much money if no one ever loses !
I too got caught in some of these charades and wasted my time arguing with people who do not matter.
This forum can be a great place where people can exchange ideas, opinions, news and information, but as long as people make it about themselves rather than the topic of the forum, the ACB forum will just continue to flounder.
All i can say to the investor who comes here looking for a little knowledge maybe some news .. be patient and ignore 95% of the jiberish .. and 98% of the advice ... once in a while someone does post something that does make sense so read it digest it and use the proper DD.

I couldn't agree more. You saved me the trouble of posting the same thing. Some traders seem to think this is a teenage version of Facebook where you have a loyal following hanging on to everything you do. We really don't need to know how many trades you made or your strategy for making the next one. We get it that day trading is an integral part of the stock market. If you're keen on passing your trading expertise to the less skilled than why not set up a SH blog where investors of a like mind can gather and discuss their next hourly move?
On the matter of consolidation, it's just another way of saying the market is looking for guidance either way. That's where management has to step up and offer more than rosy optimism fo hang the market's hat on. Look at what Altria has done for Cronus. Investors basically forgave Cron's dismal financials because of its presence. I don't say ACB should go to that investment extent but if they do have any irons in the fire then they should speed the partnership process along. We need the type of news that will elevate and support the sp and keep it there and it seems the only solution that the market respects is a partnership with a major household name.
