outright sale of the company requires a buyer and an offer.
To make an offer, a company must do due diligence and it takes time.
Last summer, many pharma spent many weeks with up to 20 or more people per pharma in some case to analyse the data of 4050 for IPF before to come to the conclusion that they would not make a deal because data were not enoug (because of the trial without placebo control)
So can you imagine the time it will take to analise the true value of the entire company in order to make a buying offer?
And remember that there is 740 millions shares plus a dept of over 125 millions $. So it is not a small buying offer, so a large DD is required and it will take time, and time is problematic when you have no money.
