RE:When we prove they lied on application to tsx thereedrose wrote: Will be serious consequences and if they don’t give us copy of that application it’s clear they have things to hide then we will get the legal way but doesn’t look good if they don’t cooperate and tsx staff who made decisions will have to tell us why they accepted their application when they had lots of proof pli had other less dilutive options and why they didn’t wish to talk to retail investors they only listened to pli/scalp thomvest
W5 now showing interest in meeting with investors ,national post and lapresse said they want to hear retail investors perspective since its becoming clear thomvest is taking advantage of situation
edrose while the court of 'public opinion' (i.e. the media) may take as much time and energy or more as the actual court, its usefulness to affect the actual outcome is doubtful, imo, than the real court.
If one feels that it's too time consuming or difficult to bring on an actual lawsuit, it is probably equally, if not more so, to spend ones time and energy on engaging (or place ones hope on) the media. The media is a business like all other business. They report a story which they regards as worthwhile for their purpose, then they move on to the next story.
Meanwhile, PLI investors will be in the same (no better) place whether or not the media has covered this story.
AMF's action (i.e. if they intervene as a result of investors' filed complaints), and
not the media's attention, should be more important development to keep an eye on for PLI retailers, imo.
