RE:RE:Lawsuit _Inogenpeasoupfog this is a potential class-action lawsuit initiated by the law firm in the US and they are looking for the affected investors to apply to be the cheif plaintiff.
In my past experience, it's different here in Canada. It's up to the investor (the cheif plaintiff) to find the law firms that are interested in the case.
The difference, I was told by the law firms in Toronto, that in Canada,
1. the max reward, in the case of a win, is capped as a % of the market cap of the company in question (i.e. the law firm may find the potential reward not worth their time)
2. there's is no punitive damages here in Canada, unlike in the US.
