Sorry @sogosohubidu201 you have this backwards!
Glencore stating they will be producing "at least 1,200 tonnes of cobalt containing hydroxide per month" does NOT mean, as you say, producing "1,200 tonnes of equivalent cobalt metal" (per month).
Cobalt Hydroxide is the highly water insoluble crystalline Cobalt source material product made by KAT for export and sale and often called "alpha" or "blue". As with any mine concentrate, it is not of course pure (which your statements imply).
It is this "alpha" or "blue" that is shipped to third party processors who redissolve it to further refine it by electrolysis to produce Cobalt cathodes that are then crushed and vacuum degassed to obtain ~pure Cobalt metal.
The Cobalt concentrates shipped from KAT contain roughly 78% contained* Cobalt metal.
