CCAbott,

I'm trying to find a compromise...to narrow the gap between SALP and current shareholders...

redeemable rights over a period of three years would be an interesting avenue ... no??

Bio  It's a good thought.  However, when the TMX gave the company permission to go ahead on April 23, the possibility of any alteration or re-working of the refinancing plan through a shareholders' meeting/vote has been very significantly reduced, imo.

Realistically, I do not give much hope to the AMF's intervention (or the possible initiation of a class action law suit) and therefore the rights offer will probably be carried out as annouced on April 15 and 23 PRs.

However, I would be very glad to be wrong in this case (i.e. AMF does do something soon and the terms of the rights offer being changed for the better for the retailers).
