RE:Rights Awarded to Holders of Record May 28th

RE:Rights Awarded to Holders of Record May 28thCorrect me if I'm wrong, but I think there is a problem now. Those who held their shares yesterday are entitled to rights now. In a hostile takeover, they can exercise those rights to buy shares at 50% discount. The problem I see here is that for instance, someone who has close to 5 % shares , but less, can buy a few more shares and trigger the rights. They'll be able to buy even more at half price. Everyone else who has no rights will see the share price drop to account for these discount shares coming on board. This is one other reason why the share price ran up yesterday, and is dropping today. Yesterday's owners get free rights, so they can dump off their shares today. IMO.
