Possible buyout candidate

Possible buyout candidateThere are too many newspaper chains in Toronto . We have Torstar (Star ) , The Globe and Mail and Post Media ( Sun and National Post ) . I was at the hospital yesterday and I was the only one reading newspapers . Now that Torstar will not be printing their own newspapers anymore , ( Transcontinental Printing does almost all of it ) , I don't see Fairfax having any interest in taking control of Torstar . What will they get - a newspaper that they don't print any more and Vertical Scope . I think if Fairfax received between $1.30 and $1.50 per share they would take it . They could say that they were a winner on their latest investment . I see "the Woodbridge Company " , which owns the Globe and Mail outright , and is the majority owner of Thomson Reuters having an interest in consolidating the Toronto newspapers . Woodbridge is the primary investment vehicle for the Thomson family , which is one of the richest families in Canada . I myself would be thrilled to get $1.50 a share ( take my loss )and move on . I totally miscalculated on this Value ?? stock and putting my faith in this management group .
