YES, I read that too (David wants out) and it's probably true.
Imagine if your family (in the world of billionaires) was 10th richest IN THE WORLD in 2007 according to Forbes. BY 2014 they had slipped to # 27.  Today in 2019 they are still # 27 but that standing may have to be revised downward?  The Thomson family wealth managed through  a Company called Woodbridge (of which several Thompsons have a stake headed by David) is primarily involved in Communications & Media.  Everyone knows these types of businesses are struggling. David recently sold part of Thomson Reuters to Blackrock. It's a long read but I don't think the businnes was performing well. Are they slipping further down the ladder of billionaires?  Do they care?? I think they do. By the way The Thomsons, including father and grandfather are known to be CHEAP...
