TORC Oil & Gas Ltd. VREYD

TORC Oil & Gas Ltd engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas reserves in the southeast Saskatchewan area. Crude oil constitutes an overwhelming majority of the production mix the company gathers from its assets. TORC gains access to its assets through government issued royalties and uses various techniques to identify hydrocarbon reservoirs. The company focuses heavily on light oil resource plays and relies on a three-phased strategy of resource capture, delineation, and production growth.

Have we've been dwelling on the oil sector too much of late? Probably, but then it has been so devastated, there has to be a bottom somewhere nearby right? Plus so many people have told us that this is the time of year...the off season, when demand is low that oil prices and with it, oil stock prices are generally in the bargain basement.

Well the charts we show of some of the stocks we are starting to put our 'stink bids' on, show you that they are all near historic lows and the thing we like about Whitecap Resources,Vermilion Energy and Torc Oil and Gas is that they are all dividend payers. It's hard to miss the big drop in the price of oil today, but then when you get yet another increase in inventory of 7 million barrels in the United States, that's not good news and the price of oil is flirting with that magical number of $50.00 a barrel that so many people had been forecasting as a bottom.

Well, we are one day closer to the driving season and when traditional demand for oil is higher and as we notice the rig count in the United States heading down for a change, that gives us a little hope as well.
