Beacon did a report on Burcon
Won't post the entire thing as I am guessing it is proprietary...but here is a small bit on the upcoming potential catalysts. Lots of catalysts to come: * Burcon has had discussions with food and beverage companies for years (with and without ADM) and we believe there is the potential for a development deal to be signed. * Name the partner of the JV on or before the close of the rights offering. * Funding agreements for the plant through various federal and provincial programs. * A little further down the pipe - this is just phase 1 of the plant to process 20K tonnes of peas per year, but it can be expanded to 50K tonnes on the current site. * Eventually we believe they would look to have a plant in South America and Europe that could each process 100K tonnes.
