It's not uncommon for these lenders to open large short positions in anticipation of upcoming financing so they can cover the position directly from shares and warrrants recieved in the offering. The fact that Dixon used his own money to insulate the price from manipulation is a very bullish sign in my own opinion. The fact that he'd rather buy the shares himself and hold than add them to the float and be avialble to short is extremely bullish IMO.
