FAKE NEWS Computer GeneratedWE all have heard about FAKE NEWS lately, mostly against anti Trump TV channels and Newspapers.
However, I believe there is a more pervasive intervention at play here. One instance is on Yahoo, if you click on any stock up will come suppsedly quality analysis with regards to various topics on that company. Called Simply Wall Street.
This can't be the only company doing this. I believe they are computer generated comments based on inadeguate analysis with no forethought of the future. To prove this I will attach he comments below which to an uniformed investor may seem correct. The facts of what happened may be correct however don't take into consideration any new earnings, cashflow, FCF, or anything else. The date may be Aug 10th but does it take into consideration the last quarter, how much debt was paid, wet periods, drilling periods and so on in our case. So the assumptions are all off base.
If this is the case then anyone from outside Alberta or Canada would be getting all the wrong info at the wrong time. For instance there is no mention of how much shareholders of the last ten years have gotten back already, if their cost is less than zero, so going forward is all gravy.
I could be wrong but would like comments from others:
