RE:RE:Do you think constellation were wrong to fire Bruce Linton First. Bruce is a visonary! He saw what could happen and acted on it! He and everyone else could not expect Trudeau and liberals getting elected and leagalizing weed!!!!!! After that the sky was Durban poison!!! Sweet upbeat and wonderful!!! During this high he lost sight of the real reason a company on the stock exchange is in business, to make money!!! But because of his HIGH spending for the future, it caused a major short fall in the present! 5 years from now?this wonderful play will be the dream envisioned by the Visonary Bruce!! Dont worry about Bruce! Hes still smiling all the way to future!!!

There are instances where founders could not last long (for example Steve Jobs in Apple) for various reasons. Despite other issues between Constellation and Bruce/Canopy, I think the main reason Constellation fired Bruce was due to Canopy's continuing loss that was affecting Constellation's own financials and in turn, it was putting pressure on Constellation's management itself. To be fair with Bruce and Canopy, you can't expect showing profit that early from a company, which was planning going big and going internation. And to be fair with Constellation, even though they understand this reality but they could not wait because of their big investment that obviously affecting their overall consolidated financials.

So the obvious escape goat is Bruce Linton.

Production and earnings:
Since Canopy is planning all big thing, in the process, they dropped the ball not being that serious and careful about immediate results like revenue and earings.

Use of $5b dollars:
Although they have been doing a lot of things but I still think they did not use the money that effectively as there was no real big splash in the market and or industry because of any market moving deal. Otherwise, Canopy's sp would be sitting somewhere around $100 now just because of the gold mine they are sitting on.

One of the big challenges is that MJ industry and its activities are still going through a lot of legal challenges both at home and international. It's not easy to execute any plan that easy.

Still they are doing good job as Zekulin mentioned that they are coming up with new products later this year.

So the development was not as much as we would love to but considering new industry and a lot of legal and other challenges, they have done so far good job!

It will improve and evolve and one day Canopy may come out a winner. Time is the key.

Do you think canopy has used the money they got from constellation so far effectively? Are these valid concerns, or should we brush them under the carpet. I am just asking. All responses welcome . Lets discuss this.
