Her anti oil stance looks and appeals mostly to the left  and democrats in general caught up in the media created climate change hysteria . Vote votes votes.

Of course people are free to have their own views and opinions on climate but seriously taking on big oil and getting such a law passed is an entirely different matter.

Politics aside . From what Ive read recently the US shale plays are peaking as many companies have been high grading tier one wells for maximum production . That inventory of wells is diminishing rapidly. Tier two wells are far less productive so US oil extraction may have already peaked.
