RE:Hey ROOKIEVette, I commend the amount of risk capital you put down on SCR and get why it sucks to see equity leak away on it for the time being. I'm buying more in dribs and drabs but will only return to buying bigger chunks again once I see that people stop giving their shares away for fear that they'll lose a dime in gains or whatever. I think it may stop soon but it definitely hasnt stopped yet. We've even seen at least one true believer sell on fear recently.
Of course, one news item could change it all in the short term. Indiana? Another regional player? Anything could happen, but what I look for is news connected with an indication that the business model is sound and management is executing on growth. Random news items in and of themselves may or may not give me the evidence I want. I dont pay attention too much to the careening of the stock on basically non-material news items other than when the careening is downwards and my bull thesis hasnt been affected. I perhaps should care about careening to the upside to sell opportunistically (say when it hit .92) but I dont because on a growth play like this I dont sell a single share until I see what I want.
My thesis hasnt been affected recently, so I could care less about my theoretical equity loss if people give back their shares all the way back down to .30 given that it will give me opportunity to average down. But if the whole nut youre ever willing to put on SCR is there already, I sympathize but simply tell you that, by my reading, your day is coming.
