Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:AGM

RE:AGMMy main questions for Irwin would be:

1) Why would you release financials 2 days before infused products were legalized without giving any insight on your plan for entering this market?

2) Why are you following in Vics footsteps by not making any sort of deal/JV?

If Irwin truely want to stop shorting, we need the safety net of a JV with a big player OR very clear direction on entering the infused product market alone. The longer Irwin goes without doing either of these things, Aphria will continue to trade like a wholesaler in a market that will continue to drive the average cost per gram downwards. Institutions will not invest in a wholesaler like this, especially when we really have no idea how low the wholesale cost of weed will go in the next few years. We're battling other LPs AND the black market. Sign a damn JV or unvail an impressive product launch.
