Owning Both

Owning BothAs one who picked up some ACI shares shortly after the IPO I’m extremely pleased with today’s news.

But as someone who owns 3x as many ALA shares it’s the wrong company I’m receiving a premium for today.

After 5 years and a million miles of dog*hit shenanigans from ALA I barely even pay attention to it anymore. A swift, sudden buyout announcement would be a welcomed end  to the relationship.

That said, in a time when many other (others I own as well) utilities are arguably overvalued ALA continues to look cheap to me. So, I suppose, strategically I look at it like it has more room to run than most should they be able to finally wash the stink of the last 2 years off.
