EarningsAs stated by others, there wont be anything by way of revenue to inform us on this report as to early betting success. I would hope for/expect some growth year over year in the app revenues with increased expenses relating to betting start-up.
What I'll really be listening for will be statements as to how further states are going to roll out and a comment referencing that they are growing their betting numbers in NJ week over week or some such. That may well not be something that they are willing to comment on but I could see it being said.
Ive seen some excitement here as to what the betting revenues might be. I am more cautious about early prospects. If this proposition is as it has been stated, then thescore bet isn't something that I would expect a bang from in starting revenues but a steady growth curb as betters burn through all of the incentives out there but gradually come to prefer thescore's interface and bet button taking them directly to what i hope is a very pleasing and intuitive betting page. As i said before, my Thescore app while in Vegas at least revealed to me how it might work for a bettor like myself. As i was checking a game score I could see a score bet button while I could also see the line moving during play, meaning i could hop in and place a bet mid game if i wanted to. (That feature is still working here in Canada, if you turn on your "bet mode" in your score app it will update in game lines)
