RE:Insider trading ?

RE:Insider trading ?Well, no I don't think IIRIOC did anything different. Normally the stock should be halted before the announcement or at same time so that trading is fair for all investors (including ourselves, retail investors). Normally the price drop would happen the next day, after IIROC opens back trading on a stock. Yesterday some investors were dumping prior to halt around lunch time. Price went down quickly because volume of sellers was much higher than normal.

The only ones that lost money in this announcement leakage are the ones that purchased shares in the afternoon at higher price than what they could have purchased this coming morning.

If I would be one of them, I would complain to IIROC  and ask that Quadravest  buy back at the price I paid plus transaction fees.
For all of us that were in, it would not have change much with the exception  of  a price drop at opening this morning.
