RE:Grandich Lunch Seminar

RE:Grandich Lunch Seminar
SGCGRIMREAPER wrote: At a luncheon today, Grandich spoke about TGZ among many topics. The most intersting tidbit when it comes to TGZ was his concern about Mimran for the second year in a row, getting authorization to go to 29.9% and hasn't even gotten to 25% (where upon he would gain another board seat).

Given how aggressive Mimran was until 2018, Grandich said he hopes to get clarity on it after the earnings release. You would think it was in Mimran's best interest, especially if things are really going to get going in 2020, to get to 29.9% ASAP.

Grandich also brought up how Young use to tout Mimran in his presentations but the last few was barely mentioned.

Hmmm...

Back to lurking.

Interesting !  Can you report what Grandich had for lunch?   Were there any dinner rolls served?

Rumours are that the butter was hard and a little difficult to spread.

Mimram, when it comes to west african gold, is a lot smarter than most, and doesn't have to answer to anyone as to the timing of his buys.  Nothing can be read into his buying or lack of buying, without knowledge of his overall strategy, existing portfolio and the myriad of opportunities in front of him.

Back to smirking.
