You're right in saying that new patents are based on new advancements on old inventions

RQB system may have nice little adjustments on the RotoGro units they purchased in ~2016 which is great. 

The issue isn't how unique RQB's systems are though, it's that they've copied the patented tech which lets them stack them ontop of each other. 

If RQB's systems are truly unique as you say, they may be able to make this go away with an initial pay out to RotoGro for the units they've produced to date and then from now on RQB just don't stack the units on top of each other.

FWIW -  I have tried contacting the company to find out what makes them different enough to RotoGro's units but it's as you suspected in another thread, they're keeping their cards close to their chest.
