Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

What is there not to love with Encana? Everyone is so short sighted and watching the oil inventory build from the EIA. Encana has fantastic hedge contracts that continue to protect them from any downside risk and open ended contracts to support any rise in the commodity. I don't know about 1-2 years out but I'm placing an educated guess that things materialize sooner than later.
