RE:RE:RE:RE:How much $$ to walk away?Having not done the math so take this with a big grain of salt....I would not be happy with any settlement south of 1.2bn. 

Some of you may find that wishful - perhaps it is.  Armenia has essentially tried to destroy the company - perhaps that may mean something in a punative perspective in the BIT arbitration, perhaps not.  That being said, I do not think there is a punative angle to be argued in the BIT but the company has so many examples they could use....it migh have some sort of weight there maybe.    

The cooling off period has expired with no announcement of any negotiation let alone a settllement - so off to the BIT arbitration we go.  Some have said Lydian's opening argument starts at 2bn...just cannot imagine what Aremenia will try to use as a defence to mitigate the damage they did to the company.  I mean I could imagine it but it just becomes laughable...
