Security ScreenSmart to shift to airplane transport. Unless rebels have SAMs the stand-off distance from airstrip would make for a difficult shot using RPG. Long road to mine, difficult to provide security along its length. More feasible with a caravan but maybe the road will no longer be used.
Downing an airplane would make it easier to obtain support from international force.
