"Confluence of zones" and other points from th Press releaseFor this press release and results here are the points I find most interesting and exciting:
· The hole that really started the excitement (086) which gave us 27 g/t over 38 meters has grown to a whopping 22.73 g/t over 48 meters.
- This impresses on me that we are dealing with some VERY thick and rich veins, and this is just the beginning of testing this zone.
· More high grade hits 400 meters to southeast in the new Orion zone, once again confirming expansion of this gold system in all directions (800 m step out, to depth 850 m Tabasco)
- This tells me that we still have a lot of drilling to do with smaller step outs to really find the borders of this gold system, and every release this beast just grows and grows in all directions.
FA-19-099: | A 16-metre core length intersection of the Tabasco zone with visible gold and abundant sulfide mineralization. This interval is an approximate 230 metre undercut to the nearest intersection of the Tabasco zone in hole FA-19-092 and extends the known vertical extent of the gold-bearing system at Fenelon by 100 metres, to a vertical depth of 850 metres - It was said before this hole could be a game changer, and, I believe it is. With another wide Intersection, we are now talking almost 2.5 football fields of high grade gold with true width still to be determined. WOW. Bring on the smaller step outs! |
· In talking about the 086 increased intersection they state: “The intersection, which is interpreted to be the confluence of the Tabasco zone with one of the Andromeda corridor zones, is now updated as follows (see Figs.
2,
3 and
4)”
-But for me the REALLY key information in this statement is “which is interpreted to be the confluence of the tabasco zone with one of the Andromeda corridor zones”
- On many of the diagrams we have seen over the last months, they clearly show many of the zones tapering in together, coming towards one main channel if you will, ie, the source of this system. To me, the confluence of two of these zones is exactly what we would expect to see if this in fact were the case. To me this is one of the most exciting pieces of information in this release and lends solid credibility that we are chasing this mother lode rabbit down its hole. I would expect future releases to continue to report more zones coming together and forming richer, thicker veins as we now are seeing in lower Tabasco. This is very evident in figures 4 and 5 in my opinion
· "In addition to extending the Lower Tabasco zone by an astounding 230 metres down-dip from the nearest intersection in FA-19-092, we also observed strong mineralization in the Orion and Andromeda corridors of Area 51 and in the Cayenne corridor north of the Tabasco zone, demonstrating the excellent potential to keep extending the deposit to greater depth.”
· "The recent drilling, particularly our 230-metre undercut in the Lower Tabasco zone, suggests that at depth this zone appears to follow the contact of Jeremie Pluton in a sub-vertical manner, suggesting that further deep drilling in this area is warranted."
- “To keep extending the deposit to greater depth” and “further deep drilling in this area is warranted”– Sexier words have never been spoken!
- --Lets not forget that Sprott has pointed out that many mines in this area go for up to 6 KILOMETERS in depth. And from diagrams 2 and 3 we can see there is A LOT of “untested” and “open” areas to yet target.
- If these zones continue to come together and continue for kilomoters, well, I think we know the kind of “B” words that will be getting used….Billions, Boat loads, BUY OUT….
FA-19-075: | A broad envelope of vein network gold mineralization within and along the Jeremie Pluton starting near surface and grading 0.50 g/t Au over 215.23 metres |
· I have to admit I was a little disappointed in this hole with all its VG hits, but not overly disappointed. This is I believe the third drill of low grade gold that is OVER 200 Meters. That is nothing to frown at, especially with all the high grade between it. If you are going to have to remove all this rock in an open pit scenario (which I believe it is shaping up to be) then this is all profitable rock.
To make a long story short, I LOVE the development this release shows, towards the orion zones, at depth in Tabasco, extension of the 38 m core to 48 m, and the 16 m core in the Gretzky hole extending the Lower Tabasco to a whopping 850 m depth, BUT most especially the beginning of the “confluence of zones.”
Cheers all,
