RE:Chip Samples ???It is true Mack that the chip samples are proving to be a very valuable tool not only in finding some very tasty areas of high grade such as Good Hope but will also form part of a resource estimate when that time comes. The Good Hope target is a large mineralized area 80 mts long and 60 mts deep and alsmost half a meter wide averaging 12.9g/t within a much larger halo of around 3g/t.
This has to be our first drill target and 60 mts of 12.9g/t is definitely going to get the markets attention. Also this is only what is measurable in the adits that the chip sampling occurred in. This high grade zone could be much deeper than 60 mts and this is something that the IP survey and the drill campaign can explore.
On the subject of drilling for high grade I keep thinking back to the 4.2 mts of 7oz/t that was previously drilled near the Merritt Decline. I believe this was drilled by the previous operator and this area of super high grade needs to be followed up on. Another company I am invoved with CCW have just sent a high tech camera hundreds of metres down a drill hole at Castle East to examine some super high grade silver from a hole drilled in 2011. The camera has given them enough information on the high grade vein to start a new drill campaign which is now underway.
Surely NRG could apply similar high tech exploration to their own area of super high grade because this gold is probably part of a larger vein type system and needs to be explored and drilled properly. Details of CCW's exploration and drilling are available on their website and need to be investigated.
