As for the 50 year estimate... is anyone going to hold onto a 50 year old technology (not to mention the industry standard tops out at about 25 years)?... and thermal and light degradation, along with all the other elements, makes a 50 year claim -- love to see the warranty -- a bit of a stretch. 

On the bright side for EHT, its very unlikely they'll have to honour even a 1 year warranty. 

BTW... while EHT's publishing contracts, how about the one for this news release, folks would love to see the terms and signatories...
