RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:latest investor presentation/slide deck It's always a little annoying to see insiders selling shares, but I'd point out two things:
1. If you look at the transactions by both Richard Bear and Jay Kreger on 12/18-12/19, what you see is that Bear exercised 30k rights that he had, sold 12k shares, and kept 18k. Kreger exercised 25k rights that he had, sold 12.5k shares, and kept 12.5k. So it's not as though Bear and Kreger just exercised their rights and sold all the shares they received. They sold part and kept 50-60% of the shares they received. You can confirm all of this on
Canadian Insider 2. Based on SEDI filings, all the executives/directors that sold shares still have lots of exposure to the Company:
- Richard Bear has 353k shares and 1.06M options as of 12/23/19
- Jay Kreger has 38.5k shares and 355k options as of 12/23/19
- Director Ian Webb has 128.5k shares and 45k options as of 12/23/19
And don't forget that Bear, Kreger and Ramani all have huge bonuses that hit if they can reach specific share price and EBITDA to shareholder metrics, which gives them a strong incentive to continue growing the business.
