Theralase Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical company. The Company is engaged in the research and development of light activated compounds and their associated drug formulations. The Company operates through two divisions: Anti-Cancer Therapy (ACT) and Cool Laser Therapy (CLT). The technology has been used off-label for healing numerous nerve, muscle and joint conditions. The Company develops products both internally and using the assistance of specialist external resources.

This is a small Company with a transformative tech.They weren`t going to get a second chance if anything went wrong in the Clinic. It had to be substantively de-risked beforehand.

Their decision to sponsor Dr.Rueck as part of a thorough preclinical diligence looks to have been repaid in spades - initial shortcomings could be decisively addressed the treatment can now be ‘personalised’ to an individual bladder and they are not guessing as to when they should withdraw the device on the completion of a treatment.
