RE:This one about to fall off a cliff back to $3.00 or lower.

RE:This one about to fall off a cliff back to $3.00 or lower.over-exaggerating about it going back <$3, and then teasing him about selling 100 shares from his mom's basement, perfectly illustrate the frustration born out of the fact TECK.B has performed so poorly for the past 2-3 years.

both are bone-headed, emotional comments... the type of which you only see when investors are fed up.

the market is at all-time record highs, while teck is down ~33% from a year ago. in my opinion, the responsibilty lays with teck management. we'll probably stay within a tight price range (+/-$2-3 in share price) for the next year or two until earnings start going up again. my online broker's research (which must be taken with a grain of salt as they've been proven so pathetically wrong in the past) estimates this quarter will see teck's earnings bottom out then start to slowly rise again, but remain level for the most part for the next few years. maybe by 2022 teck will hit $30/share again.
