While I wish that was true (shorts driving the price down), I don't believe that narrative. It seems to me people put too much emphasis on the ability of shorts to move prices that way. I think it is far more likely a case that the shorts simply observed the sector weakness and have been investing according to the direction of the momentum.

My understanding is that Fone/Floof is doing pretty good. I hope that shows up in the next earnings and the direction of momentum reverses.
