I am positive that thc and thc/cbd products are currently the most popular in Canada's legal market. Cbd products seem to be less popular. Your question is difficult because there are so many variables. Like prices of cbd products vs thc products, now, and in the future. Also, availability. If the law allowed cbd to sell in any store in canada and only allowed thc products to sell at pot stores, then of course this would increase the cbd sales.
Also, people can have much higher doses of cbd than thc with out getting "high". I am noticing that cbd is in some cases becoming cheaper than thc in Canada's legal market. I haven't noticed Canada's cbd flower to be cheaper than thc flower but i have noticed this with edibles and drinks. They limit thc in edibles and drinks to 10 milligrams, where as cbd has no limit that I'm aware of. I think i have noticed with edibles that cbd edibles sometimes have much more cbd in them than the thc edibles have thc in them, yet those more potent cbd edibles are almost the same price as the less potent cbd edibles. Canopy formerly had a cbd drink listed on the new Brunswick or Newfoundland store. It had 20 mg of cbd where as they had thc drinks with 2mg thc selling for a similar price (if my memory is correct). They also had 10mg thc drink selling for a high price. Unfortunately, canopy's drinks are no longer listed, as far as i know. I saw a canopy edible chocolate bar listed on the New Brunswick cannabis site. It was listed as coming soon, I believe. It had 100mg of cbd. Canopy's other edible chocolates have 10mg of thc and cost the same. I also saw similar things with other edibles. gummies/soft chews.
