I find it so funny that people just want hype on the board but do not want intelligent conversation like dividend coverage or how a stock acts ex-dividend.   Nobody's post here have an influence on this stock in any way.  I do not believe for a second that any hype or any negative posts move the needle in any way and way to many funds involved and index players.  This is why I find a few people constantly pumping here funny since they actually believe they are pumping up the price and it does absolutely nothing.  I trade in fairly large size but it is small potatoes compared to the funds.

Why would anyone want just stupid hype and stupid things like "buying opportunity of a life-time" every single day.  I threw out lots of theories and figures and if they are wrong please show me how and not just "ARX is wonderful - buy, buy, buy".  When I was buying in size this summer I heard nothing but bad things about the stock but now that commodity prices are low everything is wonderful?

On the dividend point when do you buy the stock?  Do you buy it a few days before the dividend or after the dividend.  My point is ARX is one of those stocks that most often dumps post dividend since you have a bunch of retails plays there want to sell but hang on until ex-dividend and then all dump at once. It is very stupid but it happens all the time.  If you go back over the 5 year history of ARX you will find it drops on average almost 4 times the dividend amount on two days ex-dividend 80% of the time. There are a few very huge dumps on ex-dividend also and not based on any major news.  I used this to my advantage when buying ARX in the past and bought a bunch of large stakes on these drops.  Of course if oil/NG skyrockets or amazing news it overwhelms this event and whey this is 80% of the time and not 100%.

So hype away but I continue to try and look at ARX from a rational approach and so far this has worked on both the long, short and spread side.
