RE:Lexagene today

RE:Lexagene todayThank you Roadster2 for this really comprehensive report. I am interested to know what calculation you made fort he break even:

It is estimated that LexaGene operation BREAKEVEN (generate positive cash flow) is the sale of 80  to 90 LexaGene LX Analyzers. 80 to 90 UNITS !
At an estimated $ 50,000  sales price per Unit this is $ 4 to $ 4.5 MILLION.
80 to 90 Units to breakeven

I assume your calculation is based only the selling of the LX Analyzers. What about the cartridges? This seems to be the cash cow. Further you made a calculatio for a spin off as follow:

For example, if LexaGene were to spin off 70% of the veterinary diagnostics  subsidiary to the shareholders of LexaGene and retain 30% and the entity and subsequently the Vet spin off  was acquired by Idexx Laboratories for say $ 1 billion all would benefit greatly.

The veterinary test market is close to $ 8 billion a year - what market share can LXG achieve? With only 10 % I think the spin off is very cheap – no?
