The heavyweights are going to weigh in
The heavyweights are going to weigh inand the Canopy Acreage deal is written in ink. Acreage could have been orchestrated by Canopy as essential pieces for the winning company. Canopy has to incorporate the US business space to complement its ambition of being a world leader. Constellation saw the writing on the wall and wrote the cheque to be a part of it. Constellation is a money making machine run by smart people and smart people move towards the future which will include cannabinoids. Canopy was flirting with the marketcap of Constellation and Constellation had to act. Despite turfing Linton and bad mouthing his dream, they seem to be sticking to the plan and can smell the dollars. I'm sure that Acreage is getting some direction from Canopy and Constellation in regards to their latest acquisitions and money raising as the US approaches the inevitable greenrush that is taking root. There are so many positives for marijuana stocks that are as well established as these giants. I'm not sure what the trigger will be for the Canopy/Acreage deal to happen, SAFE, MORE or Federal descheduling, but I am sure it is going to happen. I'm also sure that the US greenrush is going to be bigger and better and done with less pitfalls than the Canadian greenrush. Canopy has its eyes on the world and are positioning to provide cannabinoids to all who want them. Big Alcohol are positioning to be a part of it or at least protect themselves from loss of marketshare for safer alternatives to alcohol beverages and it isn't just them. Big Pharma are making their moves too and there are already a couple of cannabinoid drugs that are carrying the same clout as all of the other offerings, and I am sure there are more to come. $50 for Acreage? That isn't even a double off its high and a 10 bagger from here. For a world leading company? I can see it! glta and dyodd
