RE:Waste of moneyNot sure what it is exactly you think "this outfit" should be doing in the face of an ongoing downturn that started in 2014 and never went away? Now the entire sector has been sideswiped by econuts and paid protestors who have no real knowledge of how the energy industry works and how much it contributes to Canadian society.
And somehow you're expecting ESN to do what? Double in value? Magically find new customers in an era where they're are all battening down the hatches by reducing spending? That seems naive and unrealistic in my opinion.
If you want to place the blame for ESN's stock price somewhere, try pointing your finger at Trudeau whose panty-waisted rose coloured glasses and touchy-feely politics with a hug and a selfie have created an political environment that energy opponents have leveraged to advance their causes unfettered by silly things like laws and court rulings.
Point your finger at the uneducated anti-energy kool-aid drinking masses who love nothing more than to kick the entire sector when it's down for no other reason than to virtue signal while having no real knowledge of the industry or why they object to it.
Essential Energy has done a remarkable job of navigating what has arguably been the most difficult business environment in the history of the energy sector. The company still employs somewhere around 400 people has next to no debt and is still the first call for Coil Services at many of the larger sector players. So what's your beef?
