TT GAS MASTER PLAN vis a vis TXP "Beast"

For those of us who enjoy a "last lap" on (Carnival Tuesday night) would want to make sure that the technicians reading the instruments on (Ash) Wednesday AM would get a good nights sleep, then enjoy the Trini "Breakfast of Champions", aka "doubles", on the way to the rig/well site. LOL

In order to grasp the meaning (I call it "harbinger") to Trini's, let's do a, "deep dive" into the past, present and future of the TT Gas industry and tie that in to the potential significance of the Touchstone (TXP), "beast" in the Ortoire Block.

It clearly shows how Trinidad is in the center of a rich petroleum region and potentially has more resources to be discovered than what is currently developed.
Long-term strategic thinking should be applied to ensure that the country is prepared for a promising long-term future as a hub in the region, a significant hydrocarbon producer and producer of gas fed downstream products.
New gas discoveries made in Trinidad and Tobago have a significant advantage compared to gas found anywhere else in the world.

The infrastructure for LNG and petrochemical industry is already in place and begging for additional gas to be connected.
However, the potential will not be realized without actions:
- new licenses,
- improved government take for upstream companies
- third party access to gas pipelines,

are some of the areas the government needs to sort out.

CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION: If they get it right, the population in Trinidad and Tobago need not worry about falling off the cliff, but should be able to get back on top of the mountain and appreciate a great view into a bright future.
