RE:RE:BrickHere's what's interesting to me guys. If you read the article it reveals that the Conservatives and the NDP are cooperating on this. That suggests a very real potential that they have the votes to pass it because for anyone not paying attention to Canadian politics the federal Liberal's rule in a minority government right now.
The opposition parties can promote a Private Member's bill like this one and even if the Liberals didnt support it it's passage could still occur. (And for anyone thinking the Liberals might want to stop it because it would topple their government, it wouldn't. It wouldnt be a "confidence matter" [ie budget]. So theoretically even if the Liberals didn't support it they could let it pass without worrying about losing power.)
This is one of the many pieces of news that we've been waiting for.
