It demonstates what I was alluding to in the original post that LG Chem is teaming with GM. It is you that went off on a tangent talking about ancient history of the Volt, previous LG Chem ventures and Michigan assembly plants!!! The point being, GM did not invest in NMX to get lithium... they prefer to deal with going concerns!

The U.S., by the way, has lots of lithium... it is not a scarce resource! It's just that they are smart enough NOT to invest in your province. You can thank that journalist fellow - Rene Levesque for that. How much American money has flowed into Que. since that era?
