RE:Initial reactionDiamond drilling in Doris Central unleashed Doris Lake above. Wow. Spacklers are now coming online to patch up. Can't make this stuff up.
From the release:
Production came from the Doris BTD East Limb and Extension zones as well as the Doris Connector.
So other Doris and Naartok East (Madrid) should be able to provide 1900tpd to the plant. Doris Central was scheduled to provide new production and is far removed from the currently productive parts of Doris. Doris Connector is now in production after 2019 exploration.
Recovery was 85% as expected but company has evolved a complex recovery technology, a lot of moving parts. Stockpile buildup to 19,000 ounces @ 7.7gpt means that blending in with other production should exceed their 2019 avg monthly ounces produced in March (assuming maintenance is completed). Assumptions....
Hate to keep painting pretty pictures over an ugly girl (55% loss on shares held) but the problem with the processing plant now falls squarely on the operations staff. That is fixable!
Permafrost kept water from the ore for hundreds of millions of years but water near surface has been unleashed through hundreds of prior surface delineation drill holes. It was left to underground delineation to tap the faucet. If Doris Lake is the source then that is precious. I can understand melt temperatures freeing permafrost at depth but not this. 6 months of delay opening up Doris Central which was supposed to supercharge mining rate to new highs.
