Update from AsiaHi guys, I'm still here, flight cancelled and I'm in limbo. People are taking turns caring for me though I'm not sick but do want to go home as it's logistically impossible to get back at this time. I've registered with the embassy and sent an email to SOS Canadian government, so they know I'm here. Waiting for the PM's plan. Trip was awesome up until last week. Hindsight is a bltch but I take full responsibility of my decision and it is what it is. Though I'll say how disappointed I am of the western countries for sitting back and not taking real action while this was unfolding in Asia. Too much PC and no logic was used and now look what's happening - 2 months too late. China is now stabilizing as they're reporting single digit exposures and 80% are back to work. My doctor friend says this is textbook and we'll experience the same after the ugliness. Though it's night and day how citizens in Asia and the west are handling this, the contrast is almost embarrassing. People in NA getting killed over toilet paper and crying that they cannot retire, while people here just go on with life and do what they can living day to day. W T F were they thinking in Italy?Almost embarrased they're part of the G20 for their actions; I'm have Italian too. Waaaaay over blown, it's just people being too emotional as China still has a stock exchange. I still feel pretty good health wise, eating well and understanding small city life in Thailand. But I'm pretty bored and I'm waiting to come back. We'll be alright boys, just a buying opportunity across the board for the lucky ones, life will go back to normal when this either stabilizes on it's own or a vaccine is available. Health is wealth. Take care of yourselves.
