The Cube is a toy. It will not be able to detect some bacteria (gram positives) very well, nor fungi, and they can’t do high multiplexing so they would not conclusively determine what causes symptoms, because respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections are caused by many different pathogens and knowing an ID is very important.

Lex advantages:

- multiplex 27 targets at once
- lowest cost/test $4 utilizes bulk reagents
- large volume sample size 50,000ul vs 500ul essential for food, water, agriculture...
- open access
