Nice to hear about the bev demands and potential growth. Also, appreciate the fluff peice about HYNT and their Elevate emulsion inferiority with no on set/offset times. They do state that it is similar to alcohol. That is a lose claim and even at that, difficult to believe.
The independent parties such as Vertosa testing these drinks will have feild days with this. I can see competing Bev companies discretely hiring third parties to test each other’s drinks. Lol, can’t wait for them to test $PR products, if they even can, when they finally roll em out!
I like how this article reminds us that we are not even a year into edible legalization. “Barely the first inning”.
Although it seems like an eternity, it is important to realize that HC regs caused the invested alcohol companies to not have such advantage as they anticipated. Independent facilities and packaging, branding, etc. Paired with market crash, covid etc. This levelled out the playing feild some what and prolonged the roll out for many. Forcing the creation of brand new businesses from the ground up. “Fortunate” companies like Canopy and HYNT have pushed to market with garbage products tooting emulsion tech!
They may succeed due to lack of competition and highly anxious consumers for a long anticipated product. However, this will be short lived. As demand for these products is established along with factually recorded figures, better products will come to market. CBD interested giants(like Pepsi) will rein supreme. This will spill over to THC related bevs.
Just look at the alcohol industry with seltzer’s and strong root beer and so on. They are clearly paving way for younger generation taste buds. Sorry to say but, Scotch drinkers are a dying breed. CBD health drinks is bigger market and similar tasting fruity and refreshing flavours will be the main mix for THC bevs.
MH may be the first small step for $PR, but the future could be theirs at full throttle should they want it. Hopefully they roll out sooner than later, before they run dry financially.
