Great Bear Resources Ltd. GTBDF

Primary Symbol: GTBAF

Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. Additional exploration drilling is also in progress to expand and infill nearby high-grade gold zones, as well as to test new regional targets.

There's always something to worry about... If Chris wasn't doing interviews we would be complaining even more.  Chris has said that the market isn't grasping the scale of the discovery.  The communication strategy has been evolving from reporting  the spectacular grade drill hole, with a couple around it to offering up internal company modelling of the size and extent of the strike zone in an attempt to show the scale which Chris has been banging the table on for many months.

It's fair to say there is a lot more institutional ownership coming on board, which is great because the institutional money isn't as flaky as retail, hopefully the selloffs between drill results will moderate.  I'm fine with Chris working the media and telling the story.  It's a long haul getting big players on board, and Peter Brown is a big win.   If we don't get a takeout offer this year, I want the next raise of capital to happen with minimal dilution.

In the January MIF,  Chris said that for all he knew, we might not be talking about Great Bear in June. The virus has possibly had a dual benefit - the price of gold will certainly rise through this year, and a takeover offer may well be delayed by the pandemic.  If you look at this company with a positive point of view, the drill holes, price of gold, and time to prove the resource seem to be lining up.  It's rare for ordinary shareholders to get paid, but that is the goal of Chris and the GBR team.  GLTA.

You hit the nail on the head, Chris has stood by us thus far and there is no reason not to trust him the rest of the way. My hope is we sell a block at a time, prove it up sell it on, we know the geology and should play to management strengths !

Hey flashcash, I agree with your sell a block at a time, that's why I wrote the blurb about GBR's value is worth more as the parts than the whole. It's the district scale that will give us great value, but I don't think we should sell the project as the district scale size being one project. It is the parts that we need to concentrate on. Failing that, we need to have a huge % upside if we sell it as one.
