Quebec Nationalizing Bombardier?

Quebec Nationalizing Bombardier?I see comments about the possibility of Province of Quebec nationalizing Bombardier. Honestly, that does not make any sense to me.

The Government of Quebec has nationalized private industry before such as electricity because this is an essential  public service. Electrical power is required by everyone even in the most remote areas of the province, Bombardier is not.

Bombardier is not a public service type company, hence why would the Government of Quebec nationalize Bombardier. They did not do it for RONA why would they do it for Bombardier. Even worst for RONA, the Government was not able to get guaranties from LOWES that the headquater and senior jobs for Rona would stay in Quebec.

If they were to do it for Bombardier, then why stop there. Why not nationalize companies selling and distributing natural gas, or food services distributor, or many other providing essential services.

I do not think the Bombardier familly would have any interest in letting the company go and they have a majority vote on this decision, even if the Government was to pay a high price per share. If the familly was only interested in money, they would already have gotten rid of heir multivote shares and sold the company to he highest bidder.

It is not the job of the Government to take over businesses. It was done in other countries and failed miserably as we have seen in the former USSR.

Believe me it will not happen
