Eagerness.. hmmmSo Logic has now reverted to this idea that current investors are now relying on the "this time it's different" point of view. There is nothing in Airlineinvestor's itemized notes that suggests this. However, in any industry, and at any time, it surely does make sense to look at the specific details as they pertain to each individual company, and see if there are points of differentiations, and whether any one company has some advantages over its competitors that carry through, even in distressed times.
As for eagerness, it appears that it's Logic who is more eager, as he rapidly posted back with information connected to 2007 which pre-dates the 'building' of a new business strategy for AC.
Invested some time reviewing Airlineinvestor's posts on Stockhouse, and it appears that he is much more than an AC expert. It's beneficial to have someone bringing comparitive airline industry data on to this board. Unlike Berkshire that bought into an industry thesis (all major companies within the industry), any specialized funds with targeted budgets would be ifdentifying a lead candidate, instead.
