Looking for advice

Looking for adviceI am relatively new to investing. I have $5500 cash and just put in an ask for 3500 shares. I attempted to get into cannabis stocks in 2018, but obviously missed the boat. Has this shipped sailed as well? Or can I still look forward to some big gains by getting in now.
