RE:Superior Court of Justice Approval
You  too, Stan. Happy Canada Day!! Thanks for posting the "nuts and bolts" of this ongoing drama.

I must decline your kind offer of buying 100,000 shares if I wanted to short same. It's been a while since I last checked on margin requirements for shorting a stock at the $1.60 level. Years ago I believe one would have been required to put up the proceeds of the sale plus $2.50 per share. Or maybe it was $3. per share. In any event, a lot more cash than I have stowed away in the cookie jar to finance such a short sale. These days I believe some firms (many firms?) charge an annualized interest rate that varies with the demand for shorts. I think I read somewhere that it was costing shorts $1 per share per day (!!!) to short Nikola (NKLA on Nasdaq).

Anyway, while I still think this deal is stillborn absent the release of the Two Michaels, I'm not prepared to back up that opinion with cold cash. At least not yet. Good luck to you.
