I'm fully aware of the movie and what happened. But GQC has backers of high quality and if that type of corruption were to leak out.. which it always does at some point... I would think it's not worth the hassle. Both from legal and financial perspectives.

You must not have been around in the 90's during Bre-X. Barrick was using their political influence to mess with Bre-X's license on their Busang "deposit". Watch the movie Gold. It is based on Bre-X.
